Warum ist es so wichtig, Sprachen zu lernen?
Mr. Blake, mein toller Deutschlehrer in der High School, hatte ein Poster an der Tür seines Klassenzimmers hängen: „The sum of human wisdom is not contained in any one language“.
Was macht Englisch so interessant?
Egal ob für den Beruf, für die Reise oder einfach so: Englisch ist eine spannende, facettenreiche Sprache, die meinen Schülern immer wieder zugleich Freude und Kopfschmerzen bereitet.
Wie bereichern Sprachen Ihr Leben?
Dafür ist hier einfach nicht genug Platz. Deutsch zu lernen war grundlegend für die Entwicklung meines Lebens. Ich bin froh, dahin gekommen zu sein, wo ich angelangt bin. Und ich freue mich darauf zu sehen, wohin der Weg weiterführt.
- Herzlich willkommen! Schön, dass Sie sich für einen Deutsch Abendkurs A1.3 interessieren. Der Abendkurs ist zwei Mal pro Woche und hat je 3 Unterrichtsstunden von 17:15-19:30 Uhr. Ein Abendkurs dauert neun Wochen und hat insgesamt 54 Unterrichtsstunden. Sie benötigen erste Kenntnisse auf dem Niveau A1, um diesen A1.3-Kurs zu besuchen. Zum Abendkurs gehört keine Prüfung. <b>Bildungsurlaub<b>
- Learn English to communicate in private situations and at work. Whether you want to use English at work, for socializing (in person or online) or for travel, you will learn language and strategies which help you to understand and communicate better. You will practise your English in speaking, listening, reading and some writing activities. A review of the most important grammar is included. Please note that we will not complete the whole course book in this seminar but only a selection of relevant units. - Für Teilnehmende mit guten Vorkenntnissen. In addition to practising your speaking, listening and reading skills, you will have the opportunity to improve your grammar and extend your vocabulary. Lehrbucharbeit ab Lektion 7.

- Für Teilnehmende mit guten Vorkenntnissen, die mehr Sicherheit in der Anwendung der englischen Sprache gewinnen möchten.

- This is the right course for you if you want to brush up your vocabulary and express yourself more accurately in English. In addition to practising your speaking, listening and reading skills, you will have the opportunity to improve your grammar and extend your active vocabulary. Material will be provided.

- Want to sharpen your English skills and "Sprachgefühl"? This course will show you how English works person-to-person. We’ll be training different communication elements (convincing, intercultural competences, humour, disagreeing, complaining, agreeing) to help you get heard, understand the people you are talking to better, and take your ability to the next level. Material will be provided. The number of participants is limited to 9 to ensure that everyone feels confident and can talk and practise as much as possible.

Designed for intermediate learners, it is dedicated to improving your fluency and precision in English. You will learn advanced vocabulary and idiomatic expressions as well as review grammar topics you feel unsure about. Talking about topics of general interest will allow you to apply what you are learning to real-world situations. But in a foreign language, so many other things make it even more difficult. If this sounds familiar, take heart: you are not alone! In this course you’ll learn how to carry on both a superficial conversation in English as well as a deeper, more meaningful one. You’ll also learn how to make it easier for the other person to follow your ideas. And best of all, you’ll learn how to do all of this in a way that other people will enjoy talking to you!
