- Wenn Sie gelegentlich Englisch beruflich nutzen, sich aber dabei unsicher fühlen, sind Sie in diesem Kompaktkurs genau richtig! Hier geht es um E-Mails, Telefonate, Besprechungen, Präsentationen, und wie man sich da richtig und effektiv ausdrückt. Das Lehrbuch behandelt allgemeine berufliche Situationen, die Sie beim Üben in dieser Woche direkt auf Ihre eigene berufliche Situation und Ihre eigenen Bedürfnisse anpassen können. - In diesem Bildungsurlaub frischen wir die wichtigsten Themen und Grammatikstrukturen der Niveaus A2 und B1 in intensiver, knackiger Form auf. Wir beginnen ganz nah bei uns mit den Themen Small Talk, sich vorstellen, Hobbies &Freizeit, lernen dann, unser Umfeld zu beschreiben und zu vergleichen, tauschen uns über Erfahrungen in der Vergangenheit aus, schmieden Pläne und lernen, uns sprachlich an einem fremden Ort zu orientieren und in Restaurant, Geschäft und Pub höflich und erfolgreich zu verständigen. Im Bereich B1 spielen abstraktere Themen wie Arbeit und Beruf und Gesundheit und Umwelt, sowie Strategien und sprachliche Mittel, um in Diskussionen und Verhandlungen Argumente vorzubringen und seinen Standpunkt zu verdeutlichen, eine Rolle. Durch vielfältige Materialien und Übungsformen, sowie dem Einsatz verschiedener Medien, wird der Unterrichtstag kurzweilig gestaltet und verschiedene Lerntypen angesprochen. So werden die Grundlagen in den Bereichen Wortschatz, Grammatik, Leseverstehen und Hörverstehen aufgefrischt und gefestigt und jede Menge lockere Sprechanlässe geschaffen, um Vorbehalte, Englisch aktiv zu nutzen, nach und nach abzubauen.

- Do you often find yourself wanting to communicate a certain idea or opinion in English, but you can’t seem to get your ideas across? Of course, this can be challenging even in our native language. But in a foreign language, so many other things make it even more difficult. Sometimes it’s a lack of vocabulary or grammar; but more often, it’s that people get so nervous that they either freeze up or can't communicate clearly. If this sounds familiar, take heart: you are not alone! In this course you’ll learn how to carry on both a superficial conversation in English as well as a deeper, more meaningful one. You’ll also learn how to make it easier for the other person to follow your ideas. And best of all, you’ll learn how to do all of this in a way that other people will enjoy talking to you! - In diesem Bildungsurlaub stehen die Konversation und das freie Sprechen im Vordergrund! Auch auf Niveau A2 kann bereits über eine Vielfalt von Themen gesprochen und so Vorbehalte und Hürden, die englische Sprache aktiv zu nutzen, abgebaut werden. Dazu werden verschiedenste Übungen, Spiele, Videos, Texte und auf das Niveau abgestimmte Kurzgeschichten genutzt, um Wortschatz und sprachliche Mittel mit Freude an der Sprache aufzufrischen und ganz unbedarft und locker ins Sprechen und Diskutieren zu gekommen. Die Grammatik wird dabei nicht explizit thematisiert, vielmehr stellen sich Sprachfluss und –gefühl ganz natürlich und ohne Druck ein. Fragen zur Grammatik werden aber selbstverständlich bei Bedarf beantwortet. Wenn Sie also schon einmal Englischkenntnisse auf Niveau A2 erworben haben, diese aber kaum nutzen und endlich die Angst vor dem Sprechen verlieren möchten, ist dies der richtige Bildungsurlaub für Sie!
